How to use it

As easy as your regular detergent. Give your laundry a luxury signature scent.

1. Your usual detergent 2. Grab a cap 3. Perfume in the softener slot

  1. Dosage: 1 to 2 caps

    10 to 20 ml per wash. 1 cap for a subtle scent, 2 if you want to notice it more.

  2. In the fabric softener compartment

    Alongside your usual detergent, preferably in the fabric softener compartment. Straight in the drum works too.

  3. Wash at max. 60 °C

    The fibres absorb the scent during the final rinse.

  4. Hand wash

    1 cap in clean rinse water, let it soak in briefly and dry as usual.

Using the dryer? Add your dryer balls

Air drying gives the nicest scent. Using the dryer? Add a small splash to each dryer ball.

What is laundry perfume?
Our laundry perfume is a wash-in perfume booster: you add it to your wash alongside your usual detergent. It cares for your textile fibres like a conditioner and leaves subtle hints of a chic perfume. No heavy cloud of scent, but a refined fragrance you notice softly now and then.

How does STEAMRS laundry perfume work?
The laundry perfume reaches your laundry through the fabric softener compartment during the final rinse. By then dirt and detergent residue are gone, so the scent can bond well with the fibres. It leaves no coating on your textiles: the scent sits freely between the fibres. While drying and wearing, the scent is released gradually and subtly, without your clothes breathing any less well.

How do I use laundry perfume?
Use 10 to 20 ml per wash, about 1 to 2 caps, depending on the load and how strong you want the scent. Use your own detergent or laundry strips and preferably pour the perfume into the fabric softener compartment with the flower symbol. That way it only reaches your laundry in the final rinse. Adding it directly to the drum works too. Suitable for programmes up to 60 °C. For the very best scent we recommend a short cycle, washing cold and air drying. Hand wash: add 1 cap to clean rinse water and let your laundry soak for a few minutes.

How many washes do I get from one bottle?
With normal use, about 10 to 15 ml per full drum, a 300 ml bottle gives you around 20 to 30 washes.

What makes STEAMRS laundry perfume special?
Our laundry perfumes are composed like real designer fragrances for textiles: subtle and refined, never overpowering. We developed them with perfumers from Milan. The formula fills and nourishes the textile fibres with every wash, so your clothes are cared for instead of worn out. And it's gentle on your skin too.

Can I use laundry perfume in the dryer?
Yes, with dryer balls. Put a small splash of perfume on each ball and toss them into the dryer for an extra layer of scent. View our dryer balls.

Can I try the scents first?
Yes. The Discovery Set contains samples of Cloud Nine, Velvet Breeze and Morning Dew, so you can smell all three at home on your own laundry before choosing a bottle.

What if I'm not satisfied?
You can return an unopened bottle within 14 days. For hygiene reasons we can't take back opened bottles. Not sure about the scent? Try the Discovery Set first. For questions or complaints, email us at info@steamrs.de.

How fast will I receive my order?
Order by 23:59 on a working day and we ship the same day. Delivery time depends on your country; you can find it on our shipping & returns page.

Can I use laundry perfume as a room spray?
Yes! Mix some water with 2 caps of laundry perfume in a spray bottle, give it a shake and spray away. That turns your favourite laundry perfume into a room spray.

I don't smell the scent very strongly, is that right?
That's right, and it's intentional. Our laundry perfume is a wash-in perfume booster: it cares for your textile fibres like a conditioner and gives off subtle hints of a chic perfume, not a heavy cloud of scent. Want to notice it more? Use 2 caps instead of 1 and let your laundry air dry.

Does laundry perfume leave stains?
No. Our laundry perfume doesn't stain your clothes, not even when you add it directly to the drum.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin and baby clothes?
Yes. We developed the formula to be very gentle on your skin and on your textile fibres. That's why it's safe for sensitive skin and you can also use it for baby clothes.

Can I use it on all fabrics?
Yes, our laundry perfume is safe for all fabrics, including wool and silk. Always wash according to your garment's care label, at a maximum of 60 °C.

Do I still need to use fabric softener?
No, there is no need. STEAMRS laundry perfume isn't a fabric softener, but the formula does make your laundry softer. It cares for your textile fibres like a conditioner and gives your laundry a subtle, chic scent at the same time.
