Does the Travel fit in my suitcase or bag?
Yes. The Travel is small (14.5 x 18 cm), weighs only 520 grams and folds up, so it fits easily in your suitcase, handbag or backpack.
Can I use the Travel abroad?
The Travel runs on 220-240V and 50-60 Hz and has a European plug, so you can use it throughout Europe. In countries with a different voltage, such as the United States, Canada and Japan, it is not safe to use. A travel adapter only helps when the plug doesn't fit, not with a different voltage. Never use a voltage converter. Read our tips for steaming on the go.
How quickly is the Travel ready?
Within 30 seconds. You then get 10 to 15 minutes of steam at 20 grams per minute. You choose which water reservoir to use: 130 ml for a quick refresh or 380 ml for more steam time.
What is the difference between the Travel and the handheld steamer?
The Travel is more compact and foldable, ideal on the go. It is slightly less powerful (1300W) than our Luxury Handheld Steamer (1500W). Want to steam daily at home? Choose the handheld steamer.
Which fabrics can I use the Travel on?
Almost all fabrics, including delicate ones like silk, satin, cashmere and wool. Only leather, suede and velvet are not suitable.
Which steamer do you recommend for arthritis or other hand complaints?
Do you have arthritis, a connective tissue disorder or other complaints in your hands? Then we recommend the Travel. At 520 grams it is our lightest steamer, so it is easy to hold, even during longer steaming. We have already made many customers with these complaints very happy with it.
Which water should I use in the steamer?
With soft water, regular tap water is fine. When travelling, tap water is often harder than you're used to, so distilled or filtered water is a better choice. Never put laundry perfume, scented ironing water, essential oils or cleaning products in the reservoir. Read more about which water to use.
My steamer stopped steaming, what now?
The cause is often simple. Check that there is enough water in the reservoir and that it is properly attached. Let the steamer heat up completely, then hold the steam button for a few seconds. Still not working? Follow our no-steam guide or contact us.
What comes with the Travel?
Besides the steamer you get two water reservoirs (130 ml and 380 ml), a measuring cup and a removable fabric brush.
How long is the cord of the Travel?
The cord is 2 metres long, with a European plug.
What if I'm not happy or the steamer breaks?
You have 14 days to try your order at home. You also get a 2-year warranty. Is your steamer faulty? Email us at info@steamrs.de with your 4-digit order number and a short video in which we can see or hear the fault. It is the first thing we will ask for, so this way we can help you straight away. Please note: damage caused by limescale (if your steamer has not been descaled every six months) or by dry boiling (switching it on without water in the tank) is not covered by the warranty.
