How do you use the garment steamer?
Press the steam head against the fabric: the steam relaxes, lifts and fills the fibres, making even stubborn creases disappear. At the same time, the heat kills 99.9% of bacteria in textiles. Can be used horizontally & vertically. No ironing board needed.
What type of water should you use in the steamer?
If you live in an area with hard water, we recommend using filtered or distilled water in your garment steamer. This helps extend the appliance’s lifespan and ensures it continues to perform optimally.
Suitable for: curtains, bed linen, tablecloths, cushions, mattresses, upholstered furniture
Not suitable for: leather, suede, velour
Fill the water reservoir with water and place the reservoir back into the steamer. Turn on the STEAMRS Garment Steamer and wait approximately 20 to 25 seconds until it has fully heated up and the light turns green.
The steamer works in any position, allowing you to treat your clothes either hanging or lying flat. With a full reservoir, you have up to approximately 10 minutes of steaming time, enough for about 1 to 2 garments.
Press the steam head against the fabric. Pull the fabric slightly taut, and move the steamer from top to bottom over the fabric while holding down the steam button. The powerful steam relaxes the fibers, causing wrinkles to disappear quickly while simultaneously refreshing the fabric.
For thicker fabrics, you can move the steamer a little more slowly or treat the same area again.
Allow the steamer to cool down after use and empty the water reservoir before storing it. This helps keep the steamer in good condition for longer and ensures optimal steaming performance.
