We all have a few favorite white garments in our wardrobes that we'd love to wear every day. But clothes you wear often also need to be washed frequently. And if you wash your white garments often, their color may fade fairly quickly, making them look dull and gray. And of course, we don't want that! Fortunately, there's a simple trick to make your clothes brilliantly white again!
Top tip: Secret ingredient to make your clothes white
The secret ingredient for this simple trick is probably already in your home... drumroll: ordinary aspirin. Here's how the trick works. Fill a bucket or container with warm water, put the whites in it, and submerge them in the water. Then add five aspirin tablets (I use 325 mg tablets) to the water and let them dissolve. You do need to be patient: your whites have to soak for eight(!) hours before you can take them out. But you'll see, the result is truly wonderful!
White clothing with stains
Do you have a T-shirt with a large stain among your whites? You can use this trick to remove the stain from your T-shirt too. Aspirin contains acid, which quickly removes that grayish tint or unsightly stain. Ideal! And very easy.
Another method to make your laundry white again quickly
Don't have time to soak your clothes for eight hours? We understand. There's a solution for that too. Add a few broken-up or crushed aspirin tablets when you put the whites in the washing machine. The result won't be as impressive as the soaking trick, but it definitely helps!
