Remove the hanger from the steam pole | Professional Steamer

Do you have a Professional Garment Steamer or a MIDI steamer from STEAMRS and need help detaching the hanger section from the pole? This requires a special technique. The 'hanger section' is 'secured' in the small hole shown in the image below, so it won’t keep coming loose while you steam.

1. Point the end with the hanger attached toward the ground.
2. Point the other end of the pole (the end that normally screws into the steamer) upward.
3. With your dominant hand, hold the top of the telescopic steam pole, and with your other hand, hold the hanger.
4. Pull in opposite directions using only a little force.
5. At the same time, slowly turn the hanger.
6. At a certain point as you turn it, the two parts will come apart easily without much force.
