Detach the hanger from the steam rod | Professional Steamer

Do you have a Professional Garment Steamer or a MIDI steamer from STEAMRS and need help detaching the clothes hanger section from the pole? This requires a special technique. The 'hanger section' is 'secured' in the small hole shown in the image below, so that it would not continuously come loose while steaming.

1. Hold the side with the hanger facing the ground.
2. Hold the other end of the pole (which is normally screwed into the steamer) up.
3. With your dominant hand, hold the top of the telescopic steam pole, and with your other hand, hold the hanger.
4. Pull in 2 opposite directions using only a little force.
5. At the same time, gradually rotate the hanger.
6. At a certain point while rotating, they will easily come apart without requiring too much force.
