Maintenance & tips for longer use
- Preferably use demineralised water to prevent limescale buildup.
- Descale at least once every six months for maximum steam power.
- Allow the steamer to cool down after use and empty the reservoir if you are not going to use it for an extended period, to prevent limescale buildup. Are you planning to use the appliance again one or two days later? Then you can simply leave the reservoir filled until next time.
- Always keep the steam head pressed against the fabric to remove wrinkles, or hold it slightly away from the fabric to freshen it up only. The hot steam is 110 degrees Celsius and eliminates all bacteria and unpleasant odours from every fabric.
